Opportunity Information: Apply for HHS 2025 ACL AOA LRLI 0004

The Lifespan Respite Care Program: State Program Enhancement Grants aims to strengthen and expand state systems that provide respite care for family caregivers of individuals across all ages, disabilities, and chronic conditions. Eligible state agencies can use grant funds to improve access to respite services, build partnerships, offer provider training, engage volunteers, and identify and fill service gaps—especially for underserved populations.

Around seven cooperative agreements will be awarded for a four-year period. Applicants must align their proposals with the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers and will be expected to collect and report data as outlined in the Lifespan Respite Reauthorization Act of 2020.
